PHILIPPIANS 4
6. Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving continue to make your requests known to God.
7. And God’s peace (be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace) which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Amp.
If we really believe what we are reading, we will have a most blessed life. This is an absolutely wonderful promise we are being given. When we are hard pressed by any problems or circumstances, we most probably are worrying about it.
We are told not to worry, but if we do, we are to merely ask the Lord to take it away. Then He does by making His peace come into our heart and be a watchman guarding us from any more worries.
He is not asking anything difficult at all. He is the answer. This is really too wonderful almost. We only have to ask with a thankful heart, and He will take care of it.
I just wrote about worry. And now here is our answer. So clear and easy. He wants us to be happy and not have a care in the world. And we should not with a wonderful God taking such good care of us.
