I am starting a new project. I have been praying about a Bible Study Post. Not sure how to go about it. There are many things on my heart that need to be taught. We will see how this goes.
PSALM 27:8
You have said, Seek you My face- inquire for and require My presence as your vital need. My heart says to You, Your face (your presence), Lord, will I seek, inquire for and require of necessity and on the authority of Your Word.
PSALM 17:15
As for me, I will continue beholding Your face in righteousness – rightness, justice and right standing with You: I shall be fully satisfied, when I awake to find myself beholding Your form and having sweet communion with You.
When we study these two scriptures, I believe one answers the other. How do we seek the face of the Lord? What does it mean to seek the face of the Lord.
If we were having Bible Study, we would have a discussion about seeking the Lord and what it means. What does it mean to seek? It means to look for or to search out. If you lose something you must look for where you thought, you left it. You would retrace your steps. If we have had close communion with the Lord and have lost it, we must retrace our steps to see where we lost Him.
The first thing to do is always to pray and ask the Lord how to do something if we are not sure how to do it. We must search for Him with all our heart and not be satisfied until our relationship with Him is restored as it should be.
Sometimes the Lord is calling us up to a higher place. He wants more from us, meaning we must let something go in our life. There are so many things He had me lay down. I believe sugar was the first thing. We have food addictions that are not good for us and if they continue can cause health problems. He knows all of these and will change them for us if we let Him. My daughter was diagnosed with Juvenal Onset Diabetes at age 10 as I have said before in other Posts. I knew sugar was an enemy and things had to change.
As we give Him things – He gives us more of Him. Sugar and caffeine were probably the first things for me to go. And I see so many with their bottles and know it is in the way for them and they do not know. It can get a tight grip on you without you even knowing.
The Holy Spirit wants to purify us and make us healthy so we can serve Him without pain and weakness in our bodies. A healthy diet is so crucial. And it is a very important part of the flesh that dies. He starts with food and continues taking things away that are hindrances to having communion with Him.
All the things of this world do not compare with the privilege of being with Jesus. When you see His face, it is a spiritual connection that looks down deep and leaves a mark of love that desperately wants more and more of Him. Nothing else matters accept the next time you have that connection with Him. It becomes what you live for.
When I used to have Bible Study it always would end with a scripture that backed up what I had said. He would always provide and make things complete.
Numbers 12:6-8 And He said, Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make Myself known to him in a vision, and speak to him in a dream. 7. But not so with My servant Moses; he is entrusted and faithful in all of My house. 8. With Him I speak mouth to mouth (directly) clearly and not in dark speeches; and he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against My servant Moses?
We are all called to be like Moses and behold the Lord. He wants us faithful in all of His house. He wants us keeping His commandments so we can dwell with Him and behold His face. Then when He comes, we will be ready and right where He wants us!

He does often start with food…but so did Satan. However, Jesus wants us healed and strong…where Satan wants us heavy and sick.
