PSALM 127:1
- Except the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it: except the Lord keeps the city, the watchman wakes but in vain. Amp.
We have to know the Lord has a purpose in every no He sends. We believe that He is in control of the future. There are times when we think He is too slow. Can He make us like Him? We need to see the end result so we can wait the proper time and be content with the way things are at this time.
It is so very important to give up our own plans. He has a plan and that is what we should desire because it is the best for us. Most do not even know God’s plan for them. They only know He is saying no to them today. That causes hurt feelings and mistrust. This is why it is so very important to be sitting at His feet daily listening to His voice and learning to hear it.
His plan for us is always so much better than the one we have for ourselves. He knows us better than we do and knows what we are best suited for. We do not want to watch and pray in vain. Some prayers are being wasted because they are fleshly and selfish. His will is the only thing that will stand. We should seek His will in all things. He will show us the way.
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21. Unto Him be glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. KJV
