“WHO CAN HINDER OR REVERSE IT?” DAY OF THE LORD MAY 26, 2023

ISAIAH 43:13

13. Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I Am He, and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand. I will work and who can hinder or reverse it? Amp.

This is a mighty and powerful verse. If we can grasp it, we should have a faith builder today. The Lord is so mighty. When we have a promise from Him there is never any reason to doubt or to drag our feet in believing for the outcome. Unbelief is really rather absurd!

He is asking the question, “If I say yes to you, who can change it to no?” It is so important for us to come aside and spend time alone with Him with no other distractions. He is jealous for us. He wants our undivided attention. We must have ears to hear. If we ask of Him, will He not answer? Yes, He most certainly will. Then we have something to hang on to with faith.

Job 42:2 I know that You can do all things and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted.

This is another mighty verse that shows us the power we have when He decides to do something. Nothing can stop it. It seems we keep begging Him to do what is inevitable. How silly are we?

I bought a Poinsettia around Christmas. It was very small and only $1.99. I knew if I left it downstairs it would die. So, I talked to the Lord about it one day. I knew He is what makes things grow. So, I asked Him if I could bring it into my prayer room and watch Him make it grow because I love to see Him do things.

I have never had a Poinsettia last this long after Christmas let alone be so full of growth. It is so big and beautiful. Every day I look at the new little leaves that spring up. It just blesses my heart every day. And I know it is only because I asked Him to make it grow.

How does He answer all of my other prayers?

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is ever impossible, and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment. Amp.

We should have an attitude of faith when we pray expecting to get the answers we seek. He does not want us to waste His time or ours. We should come to Him knowing that He is wanting to give to us what we ask. The key in asking must be according to His will. Then we know it shall be done. That is the life of victory and an overcomer!
