“BABYLON” DAY OF THE LORD MARCH 10, 2023

REVELATION 16:19

19. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath.

I prayed today and asked the Lord what He meant by the three parts. This is what He showed me.

Babylon is a spiritual city and He will judge them in three categories.

Babylon

1. Mark of the Beast – Idolatry
2. Image of the Beast – Offering is Strange Fire
3. Number of the Beast – Spiritually on the 6th day (Not at Rest)

Mark of the Beast – Idolatry

The definition of mark is a badge of servitude. The word serve meaning who do you obey? If you obey God, then He will put His mark on you as in Rev. 14:1. Satan always copies God because He wants to be God. He will put his mark on those who serve and obey anyone but the Lord. Either you obey the Lord, Satan, another person or yourself. That is who you serve and will become slave to.

Image of the Beast – Offering is Strange Fire

This is about who we worship or love. When we come before Him to worship, He looks in our heart and sees who we love the most. He is to have the first place in our hearts and lives. This is our offering unto Him. If He is not first our offering is polluted and strange fire and not accepted by Him.

Number of the Beast – Spiritually on the 6th day (Not at Rest)

Man was created on the 6th day same as the beasts. Man was given dominion. (Gen.1:26) He was created in the image of God but fell therefore he is not complete without the cross. The cross brings man into perfection, completeness and into the Sabbath rest of God. God rested on the 7th day. The Holy Spirit must reign in man’s heart to complete him into the image of God he was created to be.

666 is the number of a man Rev. 13:18. (not one man but all men)

1. The number 6 means – weakness of man – evils of Satan – manifestation of sin.
2. The number 7 means – completeness and spiritual perfection.
3. Man is a 3-fold being:

a. Mind – must have a renewed mind Rom.12:2

b. Spirit – we must be filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit Gal.5:16.

c. Body – the flesh must be subdued by mortification Rom. 8:13.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto them, thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, with all thy mind.
