HEBREWS 12:26
26. Then at Mt. Sinai His voice shook the earth; but now He has given a promise, Yet once more I will shake and make tremble not only the earth but also the starry heavens.
The Lord goes on and says that He is shaking all that can be shaken so that what cannot be shaken may continue. We need to be unshakable to be ready for His return. This has a very large meaning. We must be devil proof, trial proof, content and at rest. This is a big order and can no way be done by ourselves.
Isaiah 58 is known as the fasting chapter. It is a blueprint of what the Lord does with us. He begins by putting us on the fast He has chosen and puts us on a journey of healing and transformation. All through this journey we must learn to keep our mouths shut and give to others and follow Him.
At the end comes the best. In verse 13 He explains what the Sabbath really means. it is the Day of the Lord. It is not only His Judgment Day but His Recompense Day or Day of Rewards. We must learn all through the fasting chapter how to die to self and give our life to Him.
All along the way we are given the ability to draw closer to Him and receive His love. He wants us to love Him with all of our minds, our heart and our strength. When we come to the end of our fast or the end of ourselves we can then enter His Sabbath Rest.
It mainly depends on learning to walk in His will and plan for our life. And then we can come into His rest by loving Him with all that we are. Our soul comes into peace because the trials and journey have left us with a faith that knows no matter what He will keep us from falling and so we are safe.
“We must be devil proof, trial proof, content and at rest.” Not shakeable 🤝🧂, but unshakable‼️

I think of the verse when Paul said, ‘nothing moves me.’ Being unmovable when we are planted on the solid rock and firm foundation in Christ. 💗❤️💖🙏🏾
