‘THE BRANCH OF THE LORD” DAY OF THE LORD JANUARY 21, 2023

ISAIAH 4:2

2. In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and lovely to those who have escaped of Israel.

DEFINITIONS

Excellent -d) unusually good of its kind; of exceptional merit, virtue, etc.

Lovely -d) having qualities that inspire love, admiration, etc.

This is the very last days. Jesus is the Branch that rules and is Lord of all. All that come to Him and have escaped from their sins will be perfected by the spirit and blast of burning and sifting, (vs.4).

3. And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem and for eternal life.

While judgement is poured out on the wicked, the Lord has His holy remnant that is being purified and sanctified. They are being prepared for Him. They have been purged from the filth of this world, pride, haughtiness and vanity, (vs.4).

They are prepared and are of exceptional merit filled with the glory of God. They will shine with the qualities of His love that will draw all to Him. As the world is in darkness, they will rise and shine with a brightness never before seen. They will shine exceedingly bright because He dwells within them, and the darkness makes them shine all the brighter.

ISAIAH 4:5-6

5. And the Lord will create over the whole site, over every dwelling place of Mount Zion and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be a canopy – a defense of divine love and protection.

6. And there shall be a pavilion for a shade in the daytime from the heat, and for a place of refuge and a shelter from the storm and from rain.

He will create a covering of protection over the remnant and all their assembly. They will be supernaturally safe until He comes to remove them to the New Earth and the New Jerusalem. We must live our lives spiritually raptured in order to be physically raptured and protected (Eph.2:4-6). Jesus is the safe place always.
