JUDE 20-21

20. But you, beloved, build yourselves up (founded) on your most holy faith – make progress, rise like an edifice higher and higher – praying in the Holy Spirit;

21. Guard and keep yourselves in the love of God; expect and patiently wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah, (which will bring you) unto life eternal. Amp.

How are we to build ourselves up? How does an athlete build himself up and become strong? It is by eating a healthy diet and having the proper exercise. We too must be on a good spiritual diet. We must eat good healthy food. We must read the scriptures daily. We should have a Devotional from an experienced, anointed teacher.

As we grow, we rise closer and closer to Jesus. We become more and more like Him. That is always our goal. Each rise coming from the victories we win against the enemy. We see Jesus clearer and clearer and are strengthened always following close to the Holy Spirit.

We must always guard our faith in Jesus and His love for us. The enemy would always love to have us believe his lies. He is forever telling us that we have sinned too many times for the Lord to still love us. That He has lost patience with us and has given up on us. But we know the Lord will never give up until we die.

Our faith is what must remain strong and secure. We must never doubt His love for us. We must know He delights in us and wants the best for us. Always being thankful and positive is a healthy state of mind and heart.

PSALM 107:9

9. For He satisfies the longing soul and fills the hungry soul with good.

  1. Amen! Train, train, train. For more than acquiring knowledge, but also to have victory over struggles, and word battles. Paul says…
    “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
    2 Timothy 2:15
    God bless
