MATTHEW 12:50
50. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother!
Jesus was always teaching and trying to make a point to His disciples and to others. This happens right after He talks about the unclean spirit leaving a man and coming back after finding the place unoccupied, swept, put in order and decorated.
This is the spirit of man after an unclean spirit is cast out. Then the man is supposed to fill up the house with the Word of God, the Holy Spirit and obedience to His commands. If not, the demon brings 7 more and the condition of the man is 7 times worse than it was before. It is so very important to do His will.
1 JOHN 2:17
17. And the world passes away and disappears, and with it the forbidden cravings (the passionate desires, the lust) of it: but he who does the will of God and carries out His purposes in his life, abides (remains forever).
ROMANS 8:5
I am not going to write the verse but explain it. Verse 5 is saying that if you allow the flesh to control and govern your lives by setting your minds on the things that gratify the flesh, that is death and hostile to God. but if you set your minds on and are controlled by the Holy Spirit you will live forever.
The main point in these verses is to do the will of the Lord. We must fill up the House of the Lord which is in our heart with His Will. Our will is the fleshly realm and death. His will is soul-peace and eternal life.
If our house is not occupied with God’s will and Spirit 7 more demons will come back and we will be in so much worse shape than before. We must humble ourselves and admit by our actions that He knows what is best for us.
PSALM 50:23
23. He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me: and he who orders his way aright– who prepares the way that I may show him – to him will I demonstrate the salvation of God. Amp.
