11 THESSALONIANS 2:4
4. Who opposes and exalts himself so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God or that is worshipped, (even to his actually) taking his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God.
1 CORINTHIANS 6:19
19. Do you not know that your body is the temple – the very sanctuary — of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received (as a Gift) from God? You are not your own.
How many times have you heard it preached that in the last days, Satan would come as the Anti-Christ and take his seat in a temple proclaiming that he is God? The scripture is saying “the temple of God.” If we are God’s temple, then we also have a seat where the one who is in control is seated. If we are in control, then self is on the throne.
Self has to move over and let the Lord reign in the heart and life, or Satan will come and act like he is God. He will mimic God’s voice and sit on the seat due God. That is why it is important to spend time getting to know God’s voice.
There may be a physical building somewhere that someone says He is God. But that is not a sign that has to happen before Jesus returns. Now is the time to prepare and be ready.
In John 4, Jesus simplified the entire concept of worship. By putting the well of water springing up into everlasting life on the inside of us, along with the release of where to worship, but to worship in spirit and in truth, he connected us to the spiritual access of worshiping God in our own body, the temple of God.

Yes, that is so beautiful. It is so vital for us to keep our spirit filled with the Holy Spirit so the truth will not leak out. This world is ever an enemy to rob the Church of her peace.
