“WALLS OF SALVATION” DAY OF THE LORD DECEMBER 28, 2022

ISAIAH 60:18

18. Violence shall no more be heard in your land, devastation or destruction within your borders, but you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. Amp.

When the Lord comes back and sets up His Kingdom, Israel will be changed into the Beloved City and safe. There will be no need for walls of protection because the Lord will be their protection. Salvation will be their protection or “Yeshua” as we discussed last night in “Wells of Salvation.” We must always enter His gates with thanksgiving in our hearts and into His courts with Praise!

REVELATION 20:7-9

7. And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his place of confinement,

8. And he will go forth to deceive and seduce and lead astray the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth that is Gog and Magog, to muster them for war; their number is as the sand of the sea.

9. And they swarmed up over the broad plain the earth and encircled the fortress camp of God’s people (the saints) and the beloved city; but fire descended from heaven and consumed them. Amp.

This is a picture of Ezekiel 38. This is the only time in the New Testament that Gog and Magog are mentioned. And it is at the end of the 1000-year Millenium Reign. Many books have been written on the subject. They blame Russia being due north of Israel.

When you read Ezekiel 38, all through it talks about the land of unwalled villages, the land that is restored and dwells securely. These who dwell there are dwelling securely and are at rest. That is not the Israel of today.

EZEKIEL 38;16

16. And you shall come up against My people Israel like a cloud to cover the land. In the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know, understand and realize Me, when My holiness shall be vindicated through you — vindicated and honored in your overwhelming destruction — O Gog before their eyes. Amp.

He brings them as a cloud over the beloved City as a threat and then fire descends out of heaven, and it is over. This happens at the end of the l000 year reign and not before during the tribulation period. There is no beloved city dwelling at this time on the earth securely with no walls of protection. Russia is not Gog and Magog. Gog and Magog are a spiritual enemy, probably demons who can swarm above the city.

The Lord has a reason for this. We can only presume that it is to teach His people how really safe that they are by His overwhelming destruction of one last enemy.
