“SHUT THE DOORS” DAY OF THE LORD DECEMBER 21, 2022

ISAIAH 26:20

20. Come, my people, enter your chambers and shut your doors behind you: hide yourselves for a little while until the Lord’s wrath is past. Amp.

I believe that as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:3 that in a moment there will be unforeseen death and destruction. It will come suddenly. If you are ready, you will not be surprised but most of the world is expecting peace.

I believe it will be a time like the world saw with the pandemic. It will be dangerous to go out. The Lord is saying to stay in and shut the door until His wrath is past. It is almost like when Moses and the Israelites had to put blood on the door posts for their safety at the first Passover.

We must be ready and watching for these things to occur. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 says the day of the Lord will not come until the great falling away has come. Our Pastor keeps mentioning that there is a high percentage of those in the Church that do not preach or teach the full Bible but only a small part. That to me is the great falling away.

ISAIAH 26:3

3. You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind (both its inclination and its character) is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You and hopes confidently in You. Amp.

We must learn to keep our minds on the positive promises of the Lord and not the depressive negative lies of the enemy. His promise is always for our good. This is for our safety.
