“THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS” DAY OF THE LORD DECEMBER 8, 2022

REVELATION 20:12

12. I saw the dead, great and small; they stood before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged (sentenced) by what they had done (their whole way of feeling and acting, their aims and endeavors) in accordance with what was recorded in the books. Amp.

DEFINITIONS

Aims -d) to try or purpose; intend.

Endeavors -d) to try; to make an earnest attempt.

One day we will all stand before the throne of God. He keeps records of all we have done that is wrong and why we have done them. He makes no mistakes and forgets nothing. If we think about all we have done and why we have done them, we should see what a miracle the blood of Jesus has done for us.

There is a song we used to sing in Church, ” He paid a debt He did not owe; I owed a debt I could not pay. I needed someone to wash my sins away. Now I sing a brand-new song, Amazing Grace.”

We have been given such a precious gift of the blood of Jesus that can wash whole books of sins away by His blood. If we fail to put our faith in His blood to wipe out our sin debt, it will remain, and we will be held accountable for all we have done.

He takes into account all our motives, out intentions and purposes behind all we have done. All our selfishness is recorded. Every attempt we have made and why we made it.

We can see how things change when we follow the Lamb. How our motives and endeavors looked then and now. Quite a change the Blood of Jesus has made.

1 JOHN 1:7

7. But if we are living and walking in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have true unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son, cleanses us from all sin and guilt, keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations. Amp.

We could never begin to understand the totality of the sacrifice He has made for us and all we owe to Him for it. He deserves all of our love and worship eternally for sure!
