COLOSSIANS 1:18
18. For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him (by His service, intervention) and in and for Him. Amp.
REVELATION 6:16
16. And they called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on (before) us and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne, and from the deep-seated indignation and wrath of the Lamb. Amp.
When the sky vanishes (Rev. 6:14) the heavens will be revealed, and I believe it will be the face of Jesus that we will see. He is the face of God. He is all that God is and wants to be seen as. And if Jesus is not in the heart of man, he will run and hide from Him because of his sin.
John 14:9
9. Jesus replied, Have I been with all of you for so long a time and do you not recognize and know Me yet, Philip? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say then, Show us the Father?
We must draw near to Jesus to be saved. He is the only way to salvation and to the Father. He is all the Father is and is One with Him. We are to be One with them. That is our safety and only hope.
Psalm 34:16
16. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. Amp.
