LUKE 21:31-32

31. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the Kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

32. Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. KJV

Luke 21 has all the warnings of the last days. It says in verse 11, “…fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” We are in the beginning of these signs. Many will not know what is coming and will need answers. He is looking for voices who will give the correct interpretation and warning. It is time to seek the Lord for these answers.

Verse 23 says great misery, anguish and distress shall be upon the land and on this people. Verse 25 says there will be distress and trouble with nations in bewilderment and perplexity, without resources left wanting, in doubt, not knowing which way to turn.

Verse 26 says they will have hearts that fail them for fear because of the things that are coming upon the world, for the very powers of heaven will be shaken.

We are to expect these times to come. We are seeing the beginning of these things. We still have time to pray and prepare. The Lord is looking for those who will live a separate lifestyle with the words the world and Church need to hear. Their hearts will be opened because of the great anguish they are in.

They need to know how to live without fear. They do not have the resources they need to get through because the only hope is the Holy Spirit. We must show them the way to the Holy Spirit.

Verse 34 says the problem is self-indulgence and worldly worries and cares pertaining to this life. We know the answer is to follow Jesus in all He is and does. He has every answer we need. We must learn to be at rest so we can show others to be at rest.

LUKE 21:36

Keep awake then and watch at all times; praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things together, that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.

We must keep our garments spotless so we can be in the presence of the Lord. He is our protector and savior. We must be accounted worthy by Him to be in His presence. Then we will be able to show others the way they will be desperately seeking.
