ISAIAH 54:17

17. But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced). This is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me — this is that which I impart to them as their justification – says the Lord. Amp.

We have so many promises here. It is a great comfort always to know that no matter what the weapon is that is against us, we are safe. We are to have His peace. This is our security and triumph.

He is giving us the victory before the battle. We can be secure knowing the enemy’s weapons have no power over us. He has no bullets in his gun that can harm us. He is shooting blanks. No reason to fear.

2 PETER 3:14

14. So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him at His coming without spot or blemish, and at peace…

We are to be at peace when He comes. He does not want us to be worrying or fearful. If we rely on this scripture, we can know there is nothing to fear because no weapon against us will prosper.

This is our inheritance if we are His servants, we can expect this to be for us. I believe our triumph will show the judgmental tongues they are wrong. We won’t have to say a word. This is our vindication, righteousness and justification.

ROMANS 8:31

31. What then shall we say to all this? If God be for us, who can be against us? Who can be our foe, if God is on our side? Amp.

The Lord has already given us the victory. Our part in any trial is to believe His promise to us and not the circumstances that face us. We may look like defeat is sure, but we must not believe what we see and hear but what God says because the truth is:

NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER!

  1. 1 Peter 5:8-9 Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.
