REVELATION 20:11
11. Then I saw a great white throne and the One Who was seated upon it, from Whose presence and from the sight of Whose presence and from the sight of Whose face the earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. Amp.
We are so privileged. The Lord wants us to seek the same face that the sky and earth fled away from. When He arises to shake mightily the earth, it will cause it to run and hide. Why is this? It is because the sin of mankind pollutes the land causing it to be an unclean thing.
ISAIAH 24:5
5. The land and the earth also are defiled under their inhabitants; because they have transgressed the laws, disregarded the statutes, broken the everlasting covenant. Amp.
We must face the devastating effects of sin. It destroys everything in its path. The Lord is creating a new heaven and earth because man’s choices have destroyed them. He will judge man also for this destruction.
REVELATION 20:12–13
12. I (also) saw the dead, great and small; they stood before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged (sentenced) by what they had done (their whole way of feeling and acting, their aims and endeavors) in accordance with what was recorded in the books.
13. And the sea delivered up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades (the state of death or disembodied existence) surrendered the dead in them; and all were tried, and their cases determined by what they had done – according to their motives, aims and works. Amp.
All the books are opened, and God keeps good records. He makes no mistakes. The Lamb’s Book of Life will determine who are saved from the lake of fire. All are judged by what they have done, their motives, aims and works, their whole way of feeling and acting.
We take the blood of Jesus for granted and get away with so much that others will not get away with. We must be separate from unbelievers because sin is contagious and if it defiles the land how much more will it defile us?
PSALM 27:8
8. When Thou saidst, Seek ye My face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord I will seek. KJV.
When we seek His face, we are seeking to see Him, to be with Him and to know Him. Now we have been given this great opportunity to draw near to Him and get to know Him. If we wait we are taking a chance to be judged like the world. His face will come for all to see. How we react to it is up to us.
There is nothing more beautiful than His presence. If we keep His commandments, He will come and dwell with us and reveal Himself to us. More and more we will be shown His beauty and glory which is His face if we are diligent and keep seeking.
PSALM 21:2
2. You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah!
What is your chief desire? That is what we will be judged for.
Nothing more beautiful than his presence. 🙏🏾❤️
