PSALM 121

  1. I will lift up my eyes to the hills (around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah). From whence shall my help come?
  2. My help comes from the Lord, Who made Heaven and earth.
  3. He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.
  4. Behold, He Who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
  5. The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand (the side not carrying a shield).
  6. The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.
  7. The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
  8. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and for evermore.

We all need Psalm 121 every day. It has so many promises that we can hold onto when we need help. We must place our lives in His hands and take ours off. If we admit we do not have the answers to our struggles and give them over to Him, He will take them and make them into a beautiful creation. We can only delay our blessings.

It is all through faith. We must make Him our keeper and give Him the keys to the gate. We do not make the decisions but wait upon Him. If we are driven to hurry and act upon any decision, that is most likely the enemy. In all of my trials, if I detect a pressure to do something that I am not sure of with a timeline telling me, “You had better do that now,” I back away. Satan drives when the Lord gently leads.

We can trust Him to protect us from the solar flares that are shooting out from the sun in these last days.

We must trust Him to be our keeper, believing He has our life in His control. He will make all things work for our good no matter how it looks and no matter how others may judge. I know if He is my keeper, He will not allow me to do anything that does not have a good ending in it for me.

I do not have all the answers, but I know He does and will not let me fall into a trap unless there is a very good reason. He is my keeper and will keep me from all evil. This does not mean I will never fail. He allows the trials that I need that will make me stronger and complete and at rest when He comes. And that is what I ask Him to do!

It is wonderful knowing that I can trust Him to keep my life from evil. It is wonderful knowing that He keeps My life! The pressure is off of me, and I can rest.

    1. Sometimes He allows me to go a certain way to learn something I did not know. I always pray every step I make, and I know when He says no. But sometimes He has reasons that we do not understand to let us go. I only want Him to lead me always. In Him alone is safety.
