REVELATION 13:1
- And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horn ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. KJV.
6. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, and His tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
DEFINITIONS
Blasphemy -c) vilification (especially against God), evil speaking, railing.
Crowns -c) rulers
Horns -c) powers
Powers -c) privilege force, capacity, superhuman, delegated, influence, authority, jurisdiction, light, strength.
Rulers -c) a world ruler in epithet of Satan.
I believe that there are powers and rulers in Satan’s kingdom that are set up as in any kingdom. Some are higher in rank than others. This beast comes up in the last days with more than 1 power and ruler. The Lord said that if the house is not filled with the Word of God that 7 more would come and the last condition would be worse than at first.
I believe the beast is God’s judgment on His backslidden Church who have not walked in the Spirit but in the flesh. We are so very accountable before Him because we have been given such great privileges and power. If we do not make use of them, we could be in danger.
What could some of these rulers or powers be?
- Deception
- Fear
- Lust
- Pride
- Rebellion
- Idolatry
- Unbelief
- Jealousy
- Bitterness
- Confusion
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
1John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
We must do battle against these spirits that are infiltrating the body of Christ. They will not attack unbelievers. We must not fear them. They just are more than normal and meaner. We can still make them leave and close their mouths. But we must do it or they will become stronger and stronger if not bound repeatedly.
In Matthew 12:24-32 the Pharisee’s were accusing Jesus of casting out devils with the help of Beelzebub, the prince of the devils. He told them that was blaspheme. He said whoever speaks a word against the Holy Spirit would not be forgiven. What He is saying is if the Holy Spirit is doing a work and you call it Satan, that is blasphemy and will not be forgiven.
The Beast has blaspheme written on each of his heads. He will rail at and insult the abode of God which is the Christian who has Jesus in their heart. Satan will do his best to get God’s people to commit the sin that will not be forgiven. We think we would never speak against the Holy Spirit. But what did the Pharisees speak?
How many times have we judged something done in the Church and said, “That was wrong and not God?”
This is saying the Pharisees’ said Jesus was doing a work not by the Help of the Holy Spirit but by the power of Beelzebub. We must be so careful how we judge and what we say. The Anti-Christ Beast spirit is rampantly tempting the Church to its destruction.
We have authority and must use it. We also have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. We must be in constant communion with Him to help us in areas that are so very dangerous. We cannot do this on our own. We must be rich in our relationship with Jesus every moment of every day.
Thank you so much.
This is empowering to the body of Christ

Lots to ponder on the subject of blasphemy. Quite thought provoking. ππΎ
