ISAIAH 35:6-7
6. …for waters shall break forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert.
7. And the burning sand and the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty ground springs of water; in the haunt of jackals, where they lay resting, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
DEFINITIONS
Wilderness -c) lonesome, waste, desert, solitary.
This is a wonderful promise for the last days and every day. I have talked about it numerous times. It is a wonderful thing to talk about. What more of a miracle can there be than a stream of water to appear in the desert transforming the land? How many have died in the desert due to lack of water?
Now the burning sand has become a pool. Springs are flowing in the thirsty ground. And what is He talking about? He is not talking about the physical wilderness as in the days of Moses. He is talking about our life today.
A spiritual wilderness is the land of our heart and Church. If our heart has been obediently following the Lord and enduring the trials and refining fires of affliction, there comes a time when we graduate from affliction to victory.
Our prayers are answered. We see the spiritual waters flow in the hearts of those of which we have interceded for years. Now is the time of harvest. And what a joy it is. Everywhere you look is a blessing.
2. It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and singing; the glory of Lebanon shall be there given to it, the excellency of Mount Carmel and the plain of Sharon. They shall see the glory of the Lord, the majesty and splendor and excellency of our God. Amp.
The Lord will reveal His glory. What a bigger blessing is there? He will pour out His Spirit and do a work in His people preparing them to receive Him as never before! Miracles will rain all around. True revival will arrive after years of drought.
Now it is time to fill up on the water that is flowing. He is sending His fullness to all who will come and drink. He is coming back very soon. This is our preparation. Remember in Matt. 25 He said He is coming for those who have been prepared. Now is the time to drink and drink and drink some more!
Psalm 149:4 For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation and adorn the wretched with victory.
Amen and amen.
I agree that it’s time to drink and drink some of His living waters.
We should be thirst for Him.
