PSALM 12:6-7
6. The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.
7. You will keep them and preserve them, O Lord; You will guard and keep us from this evil generation forever. Amp.
This is a promise that we can take and use for the last days. Wickedness will abound and many will be overthrown by the enemy, (Rev. 13:7). When we have His Word to back us up in any specific situation the battle is half won. We must pray the covenant with the scripture we have found saying, “You promised, and You cannot lie. Do as Thou hast said.”
His Words are pure, and we know we can put our faith and trust in everything He says. Most of us have dealt with others in our lifetime that have not kept their word to us and that has made us bad at trusting. But we must look away at the way the evildoers of this world have hurt us and look up into His Holy Face seeing His goodness promised to us.
He promises to keep, guard and preserve us from this evil generation forever. That covers a lot of protection that we all are in need of. Satan will use whoever He can to try to trip us and make us fall if we are not trusting in the Lord.
If He says He is going to guard us, then He will. This is a good scripture to remember and use every day. Here are some others I use:
Psalm 34:4 … delivered me from all my fears.
Psalm 121:7 The Lord will keep your life from all evil; He will keep your life.
Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you.
These are all Words and promises of the Lord and are pure Words. We can take them to Him daily and pray the covenant. He wants us to use His Word and covenant to receive what we need. We merely state, “This is what your Word says, and I need it because… and You cannot lie.”
Then we can get up from our communion time with Him knowing that He will answer our requests. There should be no anxiety or worry in us because of His Mighty Holiness. Our requests have been heard by the King and we can rest!
Psalm 4:8 In peace, I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust.
The Lord is actively watching over His Word to perform it. Jeremiah 1:12 Thanks Wenda💕
