“O JERUSALEM” DAY OF THE LORD – SEPTEMBER 6, 2022

ISAIAH 60:2

For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness all peoples; but the Lord shall arise upon you, (O Jerusalem), and His glory shall be seen on you.

Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned to darkness, the moon to blood, before the great and terrible Day of the Lord comes. Amp.

DEFINITIONS

Darkness -c) misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness, withholding the Light, hide.

Jerusalem -c) founded peaceful; to flow as water, to rain, to point out, to teach, direct, inform, instruct.

We all seem to look for the sun to fall apart before the Lord can come back and it might. There are many Solar Storms these days that could be the beginning of the end of the sun. But if you wait until the physical darkness, you might miss the spiritual darkness that seems already here.

Many are in sorrow over their spiritual condition. Without faith, unbelief will lead you into confusion without the aid of the Holy Spirit to lead you back to the Light. We all have times of trial when things get hard. But it is how we handle these times that we learn the power that is available to us and how to access it.

Where do you go for help? The Lord will always be there for us if we are determined to get a Word from Him. There have been times for me when I told Him that I was not leaving my prayer room until He gave me the answer I needed. And He has always answered that prayer. Sometimes I think He just wants to see how determined we are and how serious we take His answers.

He promises to supply our needs and He cannot lie. If you have a need, He is waiting in the secret place to supply it. These times of darkness are not for His people. We have the Light to lead us. But we are around this darkness, and it can get in the way. We must learn to avoid it and stay in the Light of His glory.

Jerusalem is His bride, elect and overcomer. Israel is the country and Jerusalem the capital. All of Israel is not the overcoming bride but will be saved. Jerusalem is to be that Light that is peacefully teaching others as a flowing fountain.

John 4:14 But whoever takes a drink of the water that I give him shall never, no never, be thirsty anymore. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling), continually within him unto eternal life. Amp.
