“FASTING PT. 2” DAY OF THE LORD – AUGUST I9, 2022

FASTING PT. 2 – ISAIAH 58:11

11. And the Lord shall guide you continually, and satisfy you in drought and dry places, and make strong your bones. And you shall be like a watered garden and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. Amp.

This is going to be a part 2 of Fasting (post from yesterday). There is much more to cover in Isaiah 58 that should not be passed over.

When we are truly given to our fasting, The Lord will teach us some deeper truths that will bring victories in our life and the lives of others.

Verse 6. This is a time of spiritual strength that we can use to bind the spirits that we know of and truly get the victory. Fasting gives you more power over the enemy.

Verse 7. It is a time of giving. We eat less so our grocery bill is less. We must find where the Lord wants our money to go. Today there are many ministries that are ruled by the flesh and not the Holy Spirit. We must pray about where our money goes.

Verse 8. Then the glory of the Lord will break forth in our life leading us to a new life with our relationship with God leading us to His prosperity and peace.

Verse 9. Then His voice will become clear to you, and He will be there whenever you call. But we must take our words seriously. No more are we to point the finger at others, guilty or not guilty and every form of false, harsh, unjust or wicked speaking.

Verses 10-11. Then as we pour out the old life we will become a spring of Holy Ghost water that will never fail. He will dwell within us and always see us through every trial while He flows through us for others. The waters will fail not.

Verse12. Then we will begin to raise up others that have fallen and need to be restored. We will have eyes to see what to pray and have the power to bind the evil that oppresses others.

Verses 13-14. These are the rewards of our fasting if we have learned His lessons. He desires us to follow the Lamb. We do not call the shots anymore or want to. We have tasted the goodness of the Lord and cannot return to the life of the flesh. We must not seek our own selfish pleasure anymore. Not my will but Thy will be done must be our prayer. Then we will ride on the high places and receive the heritage of Jacob which is:

Genesis 27:28-29

28. And may God give you of the dew of the heavens and of the fatness of the earth and abundance of grain and new wine.

Dew -c) covering.

Fatness -c) Rich dish; fertile field.

The definitions tell us what the reward is. The dew is His covering and protection. The fatness is a fertile field of ministry. I believe the rich dish is about the food you eat the rest of your life. If you let Him do the choosing you will eat better than you could ever feed yourself. The simplest dish tastes better than the most expensive in the worlds view. When Jesus fed the multitudes, everyone was satisfied. I believe they were satisfied supernaturally and never forgot it.

He will feed us with His presence and His love, and we will ride on the High Places with Him with a nearness that cannot be taken away or stolen by the enemy. We are safe and really totally at rest with His everlasting arms holding us up forever, the true Sabbath of our souls.

29. Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you; be master over your brothers and let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Let everyone be cursed who curses you and favored with blessings who blesses you. Amp.

We will receive the blessings of Joseph and Jesus. We may not see this one until the end as Jesus is waiting for every knee to bow, so He will cause them to bow to us.

This is the will of the Lord to lead us to His completeness and rest. We will no longer be led by the flesh. Our number will not be 666 but 777 because He has completed His work in our mind, spirit and body. Now we can worship Him with all 3 parts of our being and love anyone more than ourselves.

Thank You precious Lord Jesus for all you have done for us! We will never be the same!
