BLESSING, HONOR, GLORY, & POWER” DAY OF THE LORD – AUGUST 13, 2022

REVELATION 5:11-13

11. And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12. Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

13. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Amp.

What is so beautiful about this is that every creature will worship the Lord. All of the animals will be there. I think of all the pets I have had throughout the years with my children. They will all be there worshipping the Lord with me. How great is that.

Worthy says it all. There is no one who compares to Jesus. He has risen above all and has shown His excellence as He walked this earth in sinless perfection. He gave all He had for us which is more than we know. His love is so far beyond how we can love.

I have been through many trials and at the end He would open my eyes to see His greatness and how He would answer in love when I would want to lash out. He would continue to love when I could not. His strength would never run out when I was on empty. He never gives up on anyone when we have nothing to believe for them. He is never touchy or resentful and ignores an insult when I am continually wounded and resent it.

He does everything without weakening and always believes the best even when they were crucifying Him. He did not fuss at Peter for denying Him just asked if he loved Him. He can always make His point without inflicting pain which I have yet to master.

He endures all of our weaknesses and failures, though He knows we have the needed strength to accomplish everything we have to do by His mighty power. He never fails or comes to an end with us, but His mercies are new every morning. He has given each of us so many reasons to sing “Worthy is the Lamb.”

This is all about the love of God that we must have, or we are nothing, a useless nobody, 1 Cor. 13. Human love can only get us so far. We need His miraculous love to love the unlovable. Love is what changes people. We are praying for so many others and may wonder why they are not saved. We must learn to love with His love.

He will give us what we need. We are part of His body, and He will share all of the riches, glory and honor that He has received with us. His love is never-ending, and we will enjoy it throughout eternity.
