REVELATION 16:18

18. …and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon, so mighty an earthquake and so great.

This earthquake was so great that all the mountains have left. Between Rev. 6 and 16 the Lord has poured out His wrath and has accomplished what was prophesied in Isaiah 42:15, “I will lay waste mountains.”

Isaiah 45:3-5, “…Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”

4. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

5. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. KJV.

When you see how earthquake activity has escalated in the past 50 years just think about all the cracks in the earth. When an egg starts to crack, it still holds together. But as the cracks escalate, the shell begins to break apart. What will the earth do when the big one comes? The scripture says all the mountains and hills will be made low. Valleys shall be exalted. He is changing things physically for a reason.

The Lord is getting man’s attention by the physical changes that are happening. But He is also making the same changes spiritually. He is changing the way things will be done, getting everything ready for His government to take over as He comes with His saints to rule and reign for 1000 years.

He is wiping out the evil and preparing His Church to be established before Him, blameless and at peace amidst all the devasting chaos and destruction. He will humble the Church. He will lift up the lowly and humble. He will bring down the arrogant and prideful.

He will reveal His glory, and all will see His beauty and radiance. All will change. His reign will begin based on Love and Peace. All of His goodness will permeate every part of His government. His justice will right all wrongs. No one will be falsely accused. Truth will reign forevermore!

Psalm 91

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty… Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night… not for the pestilence… a thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee!

We must remember that His Presence is where we are safe. He will lead us straight to Himself!
