ISAIAH 40:3
3. A voice of one who cries, Prepare in the wilderness the way of the Lord — clear away the obstacles — make straight and smooth in the desert a highway for our God!
Luke 1:76 And you little one, shall be called prophet of the Most High: for you shall go before the face of the Lord to make ready His ways.
We know John the Baptist came before Jesus and preached repentance to the whole House of Israel. He did not mince words but told the Pharisees the truth about their sins. We can also look for the last days army to be equipped as John the Baptist as they arise and warn of the coming of the Day of the Lord. He is preparing a people who will speak up and warn of the fleshly ministries that envelope the land who do not prepare anyone for what is coming.
1 Thess. 5:3 When people are saying, All is well and secure, and, there is peace and safety, then in a moment unforeseen destruction (ruin and death) will come upon them as suddenly as labor pains come upon a woman with child; and there shall be no escape, for there shall be no escape. Amp.
Rev. 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine: and she shall be utterly burned with fire; for strong for strong is the Lord God Who judgeth her. KJV.
2 Peter 3:10 But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night: in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. KJV.
Here we have 3 warnings that tell us what is coming. We must not ignore the times and the warnings. How do we prepare for such times that are coming?
Jesus must be our number one desire. If He is first place in our life, He will put us in the cleft of the rock where we are safe. If there is still sin in your life that you have not dealt with but leave without any seriousness, then it is time to take it all seriously to the Lord and remove it from your life. He is waiting to hear your repentant cries.
Rev. 12:12 Therefore be glad (exult), O heavens and you that dwell in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in fierce anger (fury), because he knows he has only a short time left!
The Greek definition for the word “dwell” means a place of communion and protection. Our place in the wilderness should be the safest place there is because of His presence dwelling there with us. We must learn this now or we will not be safe. The whole world worships the beast and is not concerned with the Lord’s return. (Rev. 13:3)
If we are playing Church games and are not concerned with our fellowship with Jesus, then we will not be ready when He comes. His presence is our safety. Our worship is where we enter into His presence. If we are not exercising this great benefit, we will not stand when He comes, For no one will see His face and live!
Rev. 6:16 And they called to the mountains and the rocks, Fall on (before) us and hide us from the face of Him Who sits on the throne, and from the deep-seated indignation and wrath of the Lamb. Amp.
Rev. 22:7 And behold, I Am coming speedily. Blessed (happy to be envied) is he who observes and lays to heart and keeps the truths of this prophecy — the predictions, consolations and warnings — contained in this little book.
This a message we need
2 Timothy 4:3
2 Timothy 4. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
We are the generation that has developed itchy ears and resent the truth.
It’s time that the Johns should rise and address these issues.
Great word
