ISAIAH 40:9

9. O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength: lift it up, be not afraid; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! KJV.

Before the Lord returns, He does a mighty work in His set apart remnant. He is doing that today. He is filling them up with Himself in ways not done before. He knows the times are in need of a special touch from His hand. He started with John the Baptist, and He is not finished.

5. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

We must prepare to see the glory of the Lord. The Hebrew meaning for glory is abundance. We will be able to behold all that He is. But we must put ourselves in the right position to Behold Him! He does not reveal Himself where He is not welcome.

Our Worship is the place where He reveals Himself and then it grows from there. If you do not strive to have a special time of worship set apart every day, then you are going to miss this great wonder. He will draw near to those who hunger and thirst for Him. The last days are known to be a great time for His presence being poured out in very special ways.

When we are on top of that mountain where He is we are to call back to others and say this is the way, walk in it and you will “Behold Your God!”

Our worship is serious to the Lord. We are to worship in Spirit and in Truth. If we are led by the flesh (our own desires), we are not in the Spirit. He must have first place in our lives and hearts.

Col. 3:2 And set your mind and keep them set on what is above – the higher things – not on things that are on the earth.

2 Tim. 2:21 Whoever cleanses himself from what is ignoble and unclean – who separates himself from contact with contaminating and corrupting influences – will then himself be a vessel set apart and useful for honorable and noble purposes, consecrated for the Master fit and ready for any good work.

If your phone is continually with you, always interrupting, then you cannot expect to see His glory revealed the way it will be.

When He makes His entrance, He will have every eye and every heart, and nothing will get in the way.

Psalm 146:8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind; the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the uncompromisingly righteous — those upright in heart and in right standing with Him. Amp.

  1. Thank for sharing the Hebrew meaning of glory which means abundance…
I have been praying over myself this prayer in Ephesians 1 from 18 particulary this one…

18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his GLORIOUS inheritance in his holy people, 19 and his incomparably great power for us who believe.

      1. That is what I want more than anything, the deep and intimate knowledge of Him. And we can have it if we hunger for it enough. Worship and communion is where He reveals Himself. It is more than wonderful!

  2. Then in my questings and prayers I believe God led me to this scripture…

Colossians 1:27. Paul wrote it, and it goes, “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

So with that definition we can safely say Christ in you the hope of abundance(glory).
    Am I correct?
