PSALM 104:24
24. O Lord, how manifold are Thy works! In wisdom hast Thou made them all; the earth is full of Thy riches. KJV.
This is telling about the Almighty Creator with a picture of His works. When you see the details that He put into it all, how can you doubt His existence. He is so diverse in all that He does. He laid the foundations of the earth. Nothing can remove it but Him. So, we can know Who is doing the shaking?
He has a voice of thunder. He sets bounds. He gives food and drink. He gives His creatures a home. He strengthens and makes glad the heart of man. He appointed the Sun and Moon, and they know their place. The creatures know where they are to find food and rest, for He leads them and provides for them.
He makes the darkness where beasts do creep. The sea is so great and wide full of creeping small and great beasts. Sea monsters play while the ships go by. These all wait for God to feed them. When He opens His hand, they are filled with good. When He hides His face, they are troubled. When He takes away their breath, they die.
He rejoices in His works. His glory endures forever. All He has to do is look upon the earth and it trembles. He touches it and it smokes. Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth.
But I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation will be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord. Bless the Lord O my soul. Praise Ye the Lord. Psalm 104
Ecclesiastes 12:13 All has been heard. The end of the matter is, Fear God — know that He is, revere and worship Him — and keep His commandments: for this is the whole of man (the full original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun), and the whole duty for every man. Amp.
We must realize God’s plan. We were made with His purpose in mind the same as the rest of His creation. But we have been given a higher calling. We were made in His image and have been given mighty privileges. We are so very accountable for the greatness He has poured out upon us by his Holy Spirit. One day we will be called to stand before Him. What will you do on that day? Now is the time to prepare for that day. It is the whole duty of every man to fear Him and love Him more than any other thing!
Even So, Come Quickly Lord Jesus!
