ISAIAH 25:4

4. For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat; for the blast of the ruthless ones is like a rainstorm against a wall. Amp.

The KJV says strength instead of stronghold. It is saying that the Lord has protected His people when the times got really rough. This is after Isaiah 24 which tells about the final hour of the earth’s existence. Now He is come to Mount Zion and makes a feast which may be the Marriage Feast. It does not say.

This is the time that He swallows up death which is the last enemy to be defeated. This is the end. He will be our shelter in the storm. He will abolish the enemies and change everything. He will bring down the song of the ruthless ones. Only His songs will be left. How wonderful to have a world with only His wonderful music.

Isaiah 24:14 But these who have escaped and remain will lift up their voices, they will shout; for the majesty of the Lord, they will cry aloud from the Sea. Amp.

I believe the Sea is referring to the sea of humanity. There will be a remnant who will know the value of praise and worship. They will lift up a song and enter into His Presence which will be their safe refuge. He will teach them the way into safety. He will always be there leading them into His strength.

He will lead the poor to Himself and protect them. Many will come to know Him. For the last days harvest will bring many into His Kingdom at the end. We must keep our eyes on the goodness that will pour at the end instead of the tragic ending that will be all around.

Isaiah 65:17-18 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind.

18. But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create; for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing and her people a joy.

He wants us to focus on the great life that is instore for us. His purpose is always to make this world a perfect place to be.
