“ARE YOU POINTING THE FINGER?” MAY 31, 2022 SCRIPTURE AND SONG

ISAIAH 58-8

Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily; and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward. KJV.

Definitions

Light -c) illumination, happiness, bright, clear, morning sun.

Glory -c) splendor or copiousness.

Copiousness -d) abundance

Rereward -c) to gather, to receive, restore, recover, receive.

This is the fasting chapter. There are so many stages in this chapter that we must go through. After we have gone through the trials that come with fasting eventually, we will come to the blessings of good health and the abundant goodness of His glory.

Isaiah 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and He shall say, Here I Am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity. KJV

This scripture is basically saying not to judge others. We carnally make assumptions about people and say things against them that are wrong. Satan is good at fueling our thoughts with lies especially in these days of the Anti-Christ Spirit.

Revelation 13:5-6 And the beast was given the power of speech, uttering boastful and blasphemous words…

6. He opened his mouth to speak slanders against God blaspheming His name and His abode even those who live in heaven. Amp.

We must learn how to recognize this spirit in others and take authority over it because it is rampant in the true Body of Christ. Satan is attacking the true remnant as it was prophesied.

Words are meant to bless and not to curse. If you are ready to judge someone you should stop and ask the Lord for help. He is saying in verse 9 that He will answer when we call. The last days are too hard for us to endure on our own without the help of the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 7:3 Why do you stare from without at the very small particle that is in your brother’s eye, but do not become aware of and consider the beam of timber that is in your own eye? Amp.

We need help within this area if we are going to be victorious and stand when He comes.

Help us Lord Jesus to keep our judgmental ideas to ourselves and become more like You in all we do and say showing others Your great love!
