‘IT IS CLOSE AT HAND” MAY 25, 2022 SCRIPTURE AND SONG

JOEL 2:1

1. Blow the trumpet in Zion, sound an alarm on My holy Mount (Zion). Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of (the judgment of) the Lord is coming, it is close at hand. Amp.

What are some of the signs that judgment is close at hand? You decide!

Signs:

• Many Geomagnetic Storms shooting fire and brimstone from the Sun.
• Record breaking Volcanic eruption – La Palma, Spain – Canary Island.
• Tonga Underwater Volcano in the Pacific Ocean – Explosion stronger than Hiroshima – Record Breaking, shooting higher in outer space than any other.
• Record Breaking Tornado – touched down 230 miles or more across 4 states lifting debris more than 30,000 feet in the air where airplanes fly.
• Earthquake activity is a common occurrence.
• Record breaking meteors.
• Record breaking sink holes.
• Yellowstone Volcano a virtual time Bomb is always rumbling.
• Ring of Fire area in Pacific Ocean is a growing pit of earthquake and volcanic activity.
• Stars are burning out with a bang!

2 Timothy 3:1-2

1. But understand this, that in the last days there will set in perilous times of great stress and trouble – hard to deal with and hard to bear.
2. For people will be lovers of self and utterly self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by an inordinate (greedy) desire for wealth, proud and arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive (blasphemous, scoffers), disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy and profane. Amp.

Matthew 24:33 So also when you see these signs all taken together coming to pass, you may know of a surety that He is near, at the very doors. Amp.

We are on the brink of death and destruction. We have been given extra time to prepare. But time is running out. When a trumpet is blown, it is a cause of alarm or joy. Alarm if you are not prepared to meet your God, or a cause of joy if you are.

Today is the time to spend with the Lord. The only thing that will keep us through the days to come is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is our only safety and hope. But for God’s people, it will be a time of restoration and recompense. He will reveal His Glory as never before as He comes to take His bride home! His coming is a glorious day!
