“THE WISE SHALL SHINE AS THE STARS” MARCH 11, 2022 SCRIPTURE AND SONG

ISAIAH 9:1-3

But in the midst of judgment there is a promise and the certainty of the Lord’s deliverance, there shall be no gloom for her who was in anguish. In the former time the Lord brought into contempt the land of Naphtali, but in the latter time He will make it glorious, by the way of the Sea of Galilee, the land beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations.
The people who walked in darkness have seen a great Light; those who dwelt in the land of intense darkness and the shadow of death, upon them has the Light shined.
You, O Lord, have multiplied the nation and increased their joy; they rejoice before you like the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil of battle. Amp.

DEFINITIONS

Naphtali -c) my wrestling, son of Jacob.

Zebulun -c) habitation, son of Jacob.

Galilee -c) a circle, as a special circuit.

Darkness -c) misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness, dark night, obscurity.

Obscurity -d) not easily seen, not clear or distinct.

Light -c) illumination, happiness.

Illumination -d) a lighting up, explanation, enlightenment.

In the last days God’s people will be in the refiners’ fire, the tribulation and persecution period. It is a time of anguish, but it is only temporary. The purpose is to refine not judge His chosen ones. They wrestle with the Angel of God as Jacob did and became Israel. They will become His habitation.

The darkness of their sin shall be turned to the glorious Light and will bring illumination. They will have a new understanding of what is coming upon the earth. Many will be drawn to them because the Lord will do the drawing. It is the joy of harvest because it is the last days harvest.

Many will come to the Lord and need to learn the Word of God and the promises that will see them through to the end. Though there will be destruction all around, there will be glory all around the people of God. They will have glorious Church services as never before. They are greatly anticipating the coming of their King with great joy! They will be ready when He comes!

Daniel 12:3 And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness – to uprightness and right standing with God shall give forth Light like the stars forever and ever. Amp.
