ISAIAH 60:5

Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. KJV.

DEFINITIONS

Forces -c) “chayil” a force, whether of men, means or other resources: an army, wealth, virtue, valor, strength — able activity, army band of men (soldiers), company, great forces, goods, host, might, power, riches, strength, strong, substance, train, valiant, valor, virtuous, war, worthy.

Virtue -d) general Moral excellence, goodness of character.

Valor -d) courage, fearlessness.

Rapture -d) the state of being carried away with joy, love, etc., ecstasy.

This is from Isaiah 60 which begins with verse 1. saying “Arise and Shine; for thy Light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” The Lord is there, and we know Satan flees the presence of the Lord. This is happening during the wrath being poured out because He is withholding the Light from the rest of the world. They are in the darkness of separation from the Lord.

This is why many say the rapture has taken place because the Holy Spirit has been taken away. But there is a remnant that have the Glory of the Lord resting upon them. They will be blessed with an unprecedented spiritual and physical wealth. They will be blessed with such joy because of the Lord’s presence within them brings unspeakable joy. Isn’t that the meaning of rapture?

We have yet to see the extent of what the Lord will do for His people. While so much chaos is unfolding, He will take what the rich have acquired, and give it to His own who are able to receive. We must be ready to receive so that it will not become a snare to us. Too much prosperity can draw us away from the Lord. It could become an idol that He will not allow in our life.

The best blessing of this verse is the spiritual blessings that are coming. To be fearless in a time when men’s hearts are failing them for fear would be the greatest prosperity possible. He will look at each situation and see where each one has been persecuted. He will come and turn things upside down. The persecutors will become the cowards. The persecuted will become fearless.

To be virtuous like Jesus is quite an honor. His people will have a great measure of moral excellence poured upon them along with His presence. That will make them stand out as bright lights in the darkness. And just like Joseph gave Benjamin 5 times as much as his brothers, the Lord will do for His own who serve Him with all their heart.
