- Lord, who shall dwell in Your tabernacle? Who shall dwell in your holy hill?
- He who walks and lives uprightly and blamelessly, who works rightness and justice, and speaks and thinks the truth in his heart.
- He who does not slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor. Amp.
We need to be in the House of the Lord, His holy temple. That is where He is, and we need His presence. The main part of being blameless is faith in Jesus.
Romans 3:26…He accepts as righteous him who has true faith in Jesus.
Faith means confident expectation and to trust in, adhere to and rely on Him. He must be where we go when we need help. He must be our refuge, our safe place and our shield.
We must speak and think truth in our heart. If Satan is lying to you then you are not thinking truth in your heart. If you are listening to his lies, you will have sadness. That is a key to spiritual health. We all have times of sadness, but that is the time to take that thing to the Lord and leave it there with Him. We cannot stay in that place, or he will wreak havoc in our lives. The joy of the Lord is our strength. We need strength every day.
The main lie Satan uses is that God is mad at us, and we have crossed the line this time. He will never forgive you for this one. You should have learned that by now.
Once we hear these same lies, we learn how not to listen. We know the Lord’s goodness. He knows every sin we will ever commit in our life and is not surprised. He will always make a way for us if we just believe.
We must have the truth in our hearts of His goodness and how much He loves us. He is always ready to pour his great love into our hearts and give us all that He is. We just need to receive it.
Once we are forgiven, we are not to point the finger at those who are not forgiven. We are to be lights and show how wonderful it is to be forgiven. If we talk about others and their sin, we will fall back and see our own sin again. We must learn to hold our tongues if we want to dwell in the house of the Lord.
We must learn from the Lord of the tabernacle qualifications for His service and when we have been taught of Him, we will clearly see that only our spotless Lord Jesus, and those conformed to His image, can ever be accepted before our holy and majestic Lord.
