8. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
9. The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord receives my prayer.
10. Let all my enemies be ashamed and sorely troubled; let them turn back and be put to shamed.
We have a voice that the Lord will always hear and it will move His heart to action. He knows when we are hurting. He knows when we are being honest with Him. If I try to hide it, He knows the source of the hurt more than I, so why try to hide it?
The worst thing you can do is try to hide your sin from Him. Hidden sin will cause a separation from God.
If He knows the voice of our weeping, how much greater does He know our every sin. Why hide it from Him when all He wants is to wipe it away? Sin only brings harm to us.
He is always looking for hearts that He can flow through. He must flow through a clean vessel. We must endure the refining process.
He will not allow us to endure the heat any longer than needed for us to become pure. Yes we will cry because fire hurts. But I would rather be in the fire with Him than smooth sailing without Him.
Psalm 18:26 With the pure You will show Yourself pure, and with the perverse You will show Yourself contrary. Amp.
What a great promise. He will reveal Himself to us. We will see His purity if we are pure. But if not He will be in opposition to us. No one wants that.
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
Let us never stop crying to Him for He always hears the voice of our cry!
