1 JOHN 4:18

There is no fear in love — dread does not exist; but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and (so) he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love — is not yet grown into love’s complete perfection. Amp.

Fear – d) anxiety and agitation caused by the presence of danger, evil, pain, etc.: dread, fright.

The Lord is telling us in this scripture, it is not only possible to live without fear, but it is His will for us to live without fear. He wants us to know His love for us. He wants us to know that if we have placed our lives in His Hands, that He will not fail us but will fight for us.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous and very courageous; be not afraid, neither be dismayed; for the Lord Your God is with you wherever you go. Amp. He is telling Joshua to be strong and go forward so that he may prosper wherever he goes.

Faith is the opposite of fear. We will not receive anything without faith. Faith is the substance of things not seen or what is not revealed to the senses. It is easy to believe that it is going to be a beautiful day if the sun is out because that is what you see. One reason for the trials is to learn faith. That is God’s way for us. We must conform to His ways of thinking and doing. It does not mean if we have fear, we have no hope. But fear is putting more faith in what the devil says than in what the Lord says.

Psalm 34:4 I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. KJV. We must fight the good fight of faith. We bring our fears to the Lord if we are aware of them. But many of my fears, I had no idea were there, until the Holy Spirit revealed it to me. I think fear is one of the most impossible sins to resist and get the victory over. And yet that is what the Lord requires from each of us.

Luke 21 is about the last days. Verse 26 says, “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth; for the powers of heaven will be shaken.” Fear will actually be the cause of heart attacks. We need deliverance now.

If we spend a lot of time in fear or any other sin, roots can form in our heart and they will become stronger and stronger. We must be set free from our fears before the powers of heaven begin to shake. I believe they are beginning to shake now with all of the Solar Storms that are increasing. So what is the answer for us?

I just know what I have done. Pray the covenant. You bring the promise that you need and remind Him that He promised to supply your needs, and you need this fear to go. You ask for more of the Holy Spirit in your life to give you the needed strength to resist the fear and fight this battle that you are not able to win on your own, always binding the spirit of fear.

He knows our weakness. He wants us to know how desperately we need His power in us. This causes us to take things more seriously. We must ask Him if there is anything in our life that offends Him and then we must lay it down. He took TV away from me years ago. I had a battle with it for awhile, but it is gone and I do not miss it at all. I am so much closer to the Lord and that is all I ever wanted. TV was causing a lot of my problems, now they are gone.

Psalm 91 tells us over and over that if we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, we are most surely and very positively safe. We must believe Him when He is our refuge, that He is able to keep us safe. Is He telling us the truth or not? Then we must choose to believe Him.

Perfect love casts out fear. We must draw nearer and nearer to Him and experience His love for us. He has His arms open waiting for us to come. There is no place I would rather be than in His arms of love. That is when we experience the safety of His presence and how real it can be.

The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.
