PSALM 26:8-12 Lord I love the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells.
9. Gather me not with sinners and sweep me not away with them, nor my life with bloodthirsty men.
10. In whose hands is wickedness and their right hand is full of bribes.
11. But as for me, I will walk in my integrity; redeem me, and be merciful and gracious to me.
12. My foot stands on an even place; in the congregations will I bless the Lord.

This is a Psalm of David. We think of him as being the best king Israel ever had. We know that he sinned and suffered for it. But it helped him see his needs and penned the most beautiful and comforting words for us in the Psalms. He was a warrior and fought many battles. He saw many evil kings and kingdoms.
He saw the evil in men’s heart’s and his own. So he was praying for God’s mercy to not let him be swept away with all the evil doers. We have to see how the evil has progressed in this world in the past 50 years. The media has made people accept evil into their homes today that they never would have accepted 50 years ago. They call it modern or adult and that makes it okay.
2 Corinthians 6:7 So, come out from among (unbelievers), and separate (sever) yourselves from them, says the Lord, and touch not (any) unclean thing; then I will receive you kindly and treat you with favor, 8. And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
We must cut off all ties with uncleanness in our friends and in what we allow into our spirit or as the scripture is saying we will not get to enjoy the closeness of our heavenly Father. Sin always puts a separation between man and God.
Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with Him, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, so too we might habitually live and behave in newness of life.
Romans 6: 13 Do not continue offering or yielding your bodily members and faculties to sin as instruments (tools) of wickedness. But offer and yield yourselves to God as though you have been raised from the dead to perpetual life, and your bodily members and faculties to God, presenting them as implements of righteousness. Amp.
It goes on to say in verse 19 that if you keep giving your faculties, meaning your eyes, ears and mouth and bodily members to sin that you become the slave of that sin. If you keep giving yourselves to righteousness you become servants that leads to sanctification.
This is saying that if you live bound up by certain sins even watching things you should not watch that you get stuck in that place and will not be cleansed or sanctified. Therefore when He returns your garment will not be clean and you will not stand.
Ezekiel 44:23 The priests shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the common or profane, and cause them to distinguish between the unclean and the clean.
When you watch a movie or a show you are giving your mind over to the powers behind what you are watching. You do not know what you are about to hear unless you have seen it before. How many times have you watched something without unclean language in it? If you want the mind of Christ you must give your mind to Him. Your mind is where Satan gets in and plants his lies. It is up to us whether we believe them or not.
If you have trouble praying and worshipping it may be because of what you are watching. It may seem very innocent, but it is enough for Satan to get his foot in the door of your life.
All the blessings in Psalm 26 come to us as we dwell in His habitation. He is holy and pure, therefore we must be sanctified to be holy and pure. There is truly nothing on the media that is worth losing our sanctification.
Luke 21:36 Keep awake then and watch at all times, praying that you may have the full strength and ability and be accounted worthy to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.
SUBJECT — FAITH — GEORGE MUELLER
Remember, the very time for faith to work is when our sight begins to fail. And the greater the difficulties, the easier it is for faith to work, for as long as we see certain natural solutions to our problems, we will not have faith. Faith never works as easily as when our natural prospects fail.
