JUNE 30, 2021 SCRIPTURE AND SONG

REVELATION 5:9 And now they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed) and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation.

DEFINITIONS

New – c) regenerate, fresh.

Regenerate – d) spiritually reborn, renewed, restored, reformed, to bring into existence again, re-established, to grow(a part) a new, as a replacement for one hurt or lost, to form again; be made anew.

The four creatures and the 24 elders are singing a new song. IN Rev. 14:3, the 144,000 sing a new song before the throne and the 4 creatures and the 24 elders. I believe that is one reason we are here. We are still learning a new song. The fresh and new revelation of Jesus must come to you each day from a clean heart that has been reborn.

Then the eyes will be opened and they will all see the beauty of the Lord and comprehend His holiness knowing that He is worthy to open the seals.

How do we learn to sing the new song? The answer is in Rev. 7:12-17. In verse 14 it says, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation (persecution), and have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

Their strength comes from the power they receive from being in the presence of the Lamb. They know they cannot be in His presence if unclean. They spend much time examining their heart in the secret place of communion and they are changed. They make it a priority to come into His presence with singing day and night until their song becomes pure from a pure and blameless heart.

And so they dwell with Him and He will protect them with His presence. The elements won’t affect them. They will neither hunger nor thirst. They live in the heavenly realm. The flesh has no power over them. They are overcomers.

They have suffered more than most and have come out better and not bitter. All their trials have worked for their good and they are filled with gratitude knowing without the trials they would not be where they are. For they have only one desire. And that is for the One Who purchased them and brought them up out of their past life. Now they can sing:

“WORTHY IS THE LAMB THAT WAS SACRIFICED, TO RECEIVE ALL THE POWER AND RICHES AND WISDOM AND MIGHT AND HONOR AND MAJESTY (GLORY, SPLENDER) AND BLESSING!
