The reason for this site is not about me. It is about my window. I am a Christian and have been blessed with this gift. After My prayer time I sit at my window, look up in the sky and talk to Jesus. There is nothing in this world that compares to the great joy He brings in my life everyday.
I will shout from the rooftops how wonderful He is. He paints the sky for me with rainbow pictures. I’ve seen rainbow angels. wings, feathers, waterfalls, teardrops, and many more beautiful scenes. He can make even the storm clouds beautiful all the while backing it up with His Word.
Many times I have sat down with worries and fears and got up with peace and joy that comes from the goodness of His love and mercy. The most wonderful part of His character to me is His gentleness. It just changes everything from bad to good in a second. I am a widow and mother of four beautiful girls. One is with Jesus and her Dad. The others have grown up and moved away. So I have the gift of time to spend with Jesus, unhurried.
What I have learned from Him is how much He loves to be with us. He wants a relationship with each of us. In Matthew 25 He comes for His bride to take her to the marriage feast. The five foolish virgins were not let in. The door was shut. When they asked to be let in, He said I do not know you, I am not acquainted with you.
Now is the time we need to get to know Him. He knows exactly what we need, But He wants us to come to Him and talk about it now. I know He has changed me for the better in every way. He is so good . I always get up wanting more of Him and all that He is.
Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. Romans 5:5
Wait at the Lord’s door with prayer; wait at His feet with humility; wait at His table with service; wait at His window with expectancy.
Charles Hadden Spurgeon
To give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
