PSALM 16
11. You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Amp. C.
I love Psalm 16. There are many blessings. The Lord is so good and is always encouraging us to reach up higher to Him. He wants us to live in the heavenly realm where He dwells and not on the earthly realm where evil dwells. How do we do this?
We must keep Him continually before us. We must keep our eyes on Him. We must be positive and thankful. We must keep our eyes off of our circumstances and weaknesses. We must not listen to the Devil’s lies.
And how do we all of that? If He maintains our lot, then we are safely able to do the rest. We must do as it says in Romans 8:5. If we set our minds on those things that gratify the Holy Spirit, and allow Him to control our lives, He will see that we are able to do the rest.
But of course, we will fail at times, but the Lord will always make it work for our good and we will learn. We must know that He instructs our heart in the night seasons as is says in Psalm 16:6. The night seasons are our hard times during trials and troubles that we endure learning faith. We all have them. We all need to grow. The only way is through the power of the Holy Spirit.
