“OVERCOMER” DAY OF THE LORD APRIL 24, 2023

REVELATION 2:26-27

26. And he who overcomes (is victorious) and who obeys My commands to the very end – doing the works that please Me – I will give him authority and power over the nations.

27. And he shall rule them with a scepter (rod) of iron as when earthen pots are broken in pieces, and his power over them shall be like that which I Myself, have received from my Father;

Here again we have the opportunity to be like Jesus. If we keep Him first and follow Him, He will make us overcomers and give us the best possible reward. He will give us all the help we need. We have to believe it is possible.

Psalm 2 is telling Jesus that the Father will give Him the nations and He will rule them with the iron rod. It is hard to believe that Jesus would say the same things to us. But so many times does He give us the same thing He has received.

We must remember that we have all because of Him. All things are possible with Him. He will give us what we ask so why not ask for the best there is? There is only one reason why we cannot be an overcomer. And that reason is because that is not the most important thing to us. He is willing. Are we willing?
