PSALM 56:3
3. What time I am afraid, I will have confidence and put my trust and reliance on You.
There are times in our life when Satan will point his darts at our heart with fearful lies. We must be at rest and knock him over with faith and trust. We must get our eyes back on Jesus and off the problem. How we see things can mean victory or defeat.
Fear has sadness attached. Faith has joy attached. I always know that something is wrong when I am sad. We must seek the face of the Lord. That will always make me happy. We are so prone to look at our circumstances. That seems to be the normal thing to do. So, we have to learn how to exercise our spiritual eyes.
We need anointed spiritual songs that focus on Jesus. These are our tools of weaponry that will lift us into the heavenly realm. The Lord will never leave us in a sad state. But we have to choose the right path. Praise and worship is always the right path to lead upward.
We must be thankful to enter His gates. There are also times to voice our thankfulness when things go wrong. We need to be thankful to get the victory. The devil will do our best to cause us to focus on problems and to feel sorry for ourselves. If we learn how to fight these two, we are gaining ground.
Then as we enter into God’s presence we are in the safe place. Satan does not get to be there, and we are safe. His presence is our remedy and safety. Jesus is the medicine the Holy Spirit applies to our soul (Spurgeon). So, let’s sing!
Surrounded with songs of deliverance whenever I am afraid. ππΎπ
