“VALUABLE BESTOWMENT” DAY OF THE LORD JANUARY 27, 2023

PSALM 34:9

9. O fear the Lord, you His saints – revere and worship Him! For there is no want to those who truly revere and worship Him with godly fear. Amp.

DEFINITIONS

Revere -d) to regard with deep respect, love, and awe.

Riches -c) wealth (as fullness), money, possessions, abundance, richness, valuable bestowment.

Glory -c) NT dignity, honor, praise and worship.

When the Lord reveals Himself, we are changed. His love comes into our heart. It is a new love that we have not known before. We are introduced to the Almighty creator of all. It is meant to draw us nearer to Him. His purpose is to be with us. He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for our sins so we could be close to Him.

When we are in His presence it makes us bow lower at His feet. We can see all of our weaknesses in the shadow of His perfection. He is love and it pours into us leaving us in awe of Him.

PHILIPPIANS 4:19

19. And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Amp.

It is His promise to supply our every need, not every want. He knows our needs better than we know them. He is always bringing the trials to us to reveal ourselves to us. Then we can pray and ask for what we really need.

I love the definition of riches. He gives us a valuable bestowment. He pours upon our hearts the true riches that cause us to worship Him. He is so wonderful and wants to share that with us and in the process our heart is filled with His valuable goodness He bestows so graciously upon us.

How can there be any need left. We are left with a wealth of glory in our heart that nothing can compare. That is the riches of His glory. It changes the way we see this world. There is no want left within us. We know we are taken care of in every way.
